Performance Feedback on PC (5090 system)

Specs:

  • MSI Pro X870-P Mobo
  • 9900x3d with +200MHz Boost and -20 PBO CO
  • 64GB DDR5-6000 Memory (Primary Timings = 30/36/36/76), tREFI = 26214, tRFC = 512, tFAW = 24, tRRD_S = 6, tRRD_L = 8, tWR = 48, tWTR_S = 6, tWTR_L = 20
  • Palit Gamerock 5090 (575W cap), +3000MHz mem clock, custom core voltage/freq curve (~+350 MHz)
  • Monitor is 45GX950 (165Hz, 5120x2160 Ultrawide resolution) using gSync

Settings:

  • Ultra
  • no FPS cap

I'm seeing on the field FPS of 120-140 FPS.  Cutscenes (also at ultra) run at 80-90 FPS generally. Visuals look good.  On the field, ultrawide looks great, but play selection looks pretty clunky with black bars that get tacked onto the side awkwardly between plays and then get removed when a play is selected.

Biggest issue is stutter and bad 1% lows in the transition between gameplay and cutscenes.  I'll frequently see 1% lows in the 30s and 0.1% lows in the single digits during the switch.  I've tried using process lasso to force High priority and forcing  Power Management Mode to Prefer Maximum Performance in nVidia App (which worked well for this problem on EA FC 2026), but to no avail.

So overall I'm encouraged but the stutter needs to be addressed.

Hope it's useful!  Thanks for the quick reply.  FWIW, I'm only mentioning this because ever since I tightened up my memory timings significantly, I almost never see any stutter or poor 1%/0.1% lows in newer games.  This game is generally looking great, though.
