RTG and its current state is bad
I’m not asking for RTG to be easier. I’m asking for more control in a primarily single-player mode.
My current CB is 73 OVR and already CB2. That breaks the career fantasy because Coach Trust can advance a player faster than his actual ability justifies.
I’d like to see:
- RTG XP multiplier/sliders restored
- Difficulty separated from XP progression
- Ratings + performance + experience used for depth-chart decisions
- Coach Trust used to earn opportunities, not override player ratings
- Realistic redshirt and special-teams roles
- Recruit-star-based starting OVR ranges
- Adjustable position-battle thresholds
- Optional attribute-cap controls
- Custom/Sandbox RTG preset alongside EA’s default progression system
Keep EA’s current balance as the default. Just give offline players the option to customize their own career.
