Controller Inputs Stopped Working

Ever since the August 6 update, my DualSense wired controller has stopped working as soon as I reach the main game screen. Any input from the controller, button, d-pad, or stock, results in the gray EA flag and a "Rebuilding Environment" message in the lower-right corner.

I have tried running in admin mode, updating BIOS, Steam Input enabled/disabled, verifying game files, reinstalling the game, as well as switching to a wired XBox controller, all without any luck.

No mods installed.
