Game Freeze and Crash

I had the same issue; I tried one game three times, and the fourth time I just simmed the 4th quarter. It's really annoying; save the white helmets. Another time, the same thing happened. The second time I tried it, I was able to complete the game. In the first go-round, I was up by 70 points and totally dominating; in the second, it was a closer game, 42 to 24. Does the amount of stats in a game make it too much to handle by the 4th quarter? And why can't we load and play without being online?

PS: Also, I had subbed all my backups in all instances except the last try??? Does that have any consequence???

Question for you, did you by any chance have a game lockup in recruiting before this started happening. I was recruiting and did a search for prospects that had 0 prospects found. The game crashed. Shortly after that, my 4th quarter crashes started. Trying to determine if they are related to each other. Maybe the recruiting crash corrupted the game file ??

I've had the same situation. Crash Logs show it's happened 16 times, mostly 4th quarter, made lots of the suggested changes. It appears to happen when the Denuvo Anti-cheat tries to verify and it crashes the game. That's what my crash logs say. I've done numerous things to try to prevent it, I think EA has to fix this. It's no fun at this point. It wasn't happening to me before the 8/6 update. Like you mentioned, you can't go in and resume where it crashed. So it's a wasted hour of having to play it over again, hoping it doesn't happen again.

I am having a similar issue.  It seems to be happening on games that I use the Mass Sub Backups option.  Because it always happens when the game is a blowout and happens after I use mass subs.  Just curious if yours is crashing in a similar way.  First the audio glitches and then straight to the desktop.

I'm having the exact same issue on ps5.
