Gameplay Bugs. Switch stick and match coverage

70% of the time switch sticking from one defender to another is either delayed, meaning I have to hit the right stick in the defenders direction multiple times or it doesn't work at all. I’ve tried this in zone and man concepts and I’m never a blitzing defender. I don’t know if it has something to do with my plaster settings but I don’t see why I shouldn’t be able to plaster and use the switch stick because these late play situations are usually the best time to use this feature. 

In match coverage without the coverage check “zone it” set to on, when lining up in cover 4 against a 5 wide trips formation. The strong side safety will bite down on a crossing/out route from the number 2 or 3 receiver and leave a vert wide open down field. String side corner plays his responsibilities on the 1 wide receiver fine. This has happened to me 3-4 times before I turned all my checks to zone it. I love the idea of coverage checks but only if they actually work.
