Bugs / Functionality
- Defensive Player Switching Responsiveness
- Defensive player switching feels noticeably less responsive than CFB 26.
- This affects both Switch Stick and the standard Switch Player button.
- On RPOs, screens, and quick throws, switching to the nearest defender is sometimes delayed or fails to register, leaving control on the previous player.
Example:
- While usering a safety against an RPO, the ball is thrown to the perimeter.
- Pressing the Switch Player button immediately after the throw will sometimes leave control on the original defender instead of switching to the nearest defender, making it difficult to react and secure the tackle.
Right Stick Wrap / Lunge Tackling
- Right-stick wrap/lunge tackle inputs feel inconsistent.
- Tackling inputs occasionally feel delayed or fail to trigger the intended animation.
Dynasty Recruiting Filter Freeze
- Using recruit search/filter options in Dynasty will occasionally freeze the game.
- In some cases, the game crashes completely to the console dashboard.
Offensive Line Protection Input
- Offensive line protection adjustments occasionally become unresponsive.
- The protection menu sometimes fails to open or register inputs before the snap.
- sometimes I can’t hot route backs and TEs when I need more blockers. Inputs sometimes require multiple attempts before registering or not at all
Gameplay Tuning
Intermediate Route Breaks
- In-breaking routes (especially digs, Texas) lose too much momentum at the top of the route.
- Receivers slow dramatically before accelerating out of the break, making intermediate timing unnecessarily difficult.
- the dagger style in breakers look and feel great. Same with slants and overs. Out routes feel better than in breakers
Match Coverage Assignment Review
- Encountered a late-game situation in Palms/Quarters where a Quarter Flat defender matched a crossing route and vacated the intermediate zone, leading to a touchdown. This has happened twice. The second time I was in agressive zones. First time was in conservative zones
- Unable to consistently reproduce the behavior in Practice Mode, so this may be a situational assignment bug or a match coverage rule worth reviewing.
