    Please try the troubleshooting steps below and let us know your results. Thank you. EA_Barry.

    1. Completely sign out of both Steam and the EA App, close both applications, restart Windows, then sign into the EA App first and Steam second. Confirm Steam is linked to your EA account.
    2. Clear Steam's download cache: Steam, Settings, Downloads, Clear Download Cache. Sign back in after.
    3. Check the game's Steam entitlement. Steam, Account Details, View licenses and product key activations, and confirm College Football 27 appears correctly. 
    4. Temporarily disable antivirus real-time protection or add exclusions for the CFB27 installation directory, EA App and game executable. Re-enable protection afterward.
    5. Rename the College Football 27 folder under Documents\EA SPORTS College Football 27 (back it up first) so the game generates a completely fresh profile/configuration on the next launch. 
    6. Try another Windows user account with administrator rights.
