It happened to me looking at the Player Stats following a game in Offline Dynasty.

Game freezes with the refreshing spreadsheet text as shown when looking at stats on PS5. Unable to resume the game, all progress is lost. Fix this now, EA.

Do we know if this is being looked at? I’m really starting to get mad. They make a “patch” and somehow make the game ten times worse. I haven’t been able to play the game for two weeks since this issue started bc I can’t complete a game with this refreshing spreadsheet freeze. Yea I know there is always the option to just never check stats during a game but that is not correcting the issue and is ridiculous if that is the only remedy. Somebody over there needs to fix this immediately!

Thanks for flagging this and sharing the details. We know how frustrating it is to have a great game going, only to get stuck on that "Refreshing spreadsheet" screen, which keeps you from getting into the game.

A few players in the community found a quick trick that might save your current game: if you're stuck on that screen, try connecting a second controller and then turning one off—this can sometimes force a controller disconnect overlay that kicks you out of the frozen stats screen so you can save your progress. Going forward, it's also safest to exit straight to the Hub after a game, rather than checking box scores.

Just experienced the same issue in an Online Dynasty. I won my conference championship in OT after scoring a TD and then getting an interception. I went to look at the stats and the screen froze with the Refreshing Spreadsheet message. Frustrating. 

We know players are having an issue, but in order to have anything investigated, we need the information requested in the pinned message. We cannot send studio bug reports when players say something like "same" and do not provide the data we need.

Once we get that information, we will then escalate it as we normally do. Bug reports often get delayed because we do not have the information required to send them over.

Date Issue Occurred: July 16th right after the last patch was completed. 

Type of issue: game keeps freezing when checking stats mid game and post game saying “refreshing spreadsheet. Please wait…”

Bug Summary: In offline Dynasty mode on PS5 my game will freeze while looking at the players stats pages mid game usually around the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters. It has also happened post game when viewing stats. I get a message saying “Refreshing spreadsheet. Please wait…” but it never refreshes and I have to exit the game and restart. This started occurring immediately after the last patch was installed on July 16th. It never occurred prior to that date with the many games I played. I’ve counted 12 out of 12 times that it has occurred since then so have just stopped playing until it is fixed.
