Xbox Series S freezes and crashes when pressing 'Home' button on Controller

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue? Whenever I try to press the 'Home' button on my xbox controller, the game freezes, crashes, and returns me to the Xbox dashboard. The audio will cut out, I'll freeze for a good 6-8 seconds, and it will boot me out of the game and I'll lose all my progress. Sometimes, I'll get like a greenish or white and red static-type screen. I know an easy fix is "just don't press the home button", but sometimes my wired controller randomly disconnects and when I plug it back in, I have to click the Home button for it to turn on again and that's when it will happen. I was kind of convinced this is probably a hardware issue, but I was talking to Xbox's stupid AI support chat thing and they said there's no way for them to know if it is (ok lol) and I should do a bug report. I've reset my entire console, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and done just about everything I can think of to make this go away but I've had no luck so far. I think it's important to note this same exact thing happens to me when I'm playing Call of Duty. However, when I'm playing MLB The Show, everything works fine and I can press the home button whenever. I've played College Football 25 and 26 and never had this issue with those games. I guess the game just freezes when certain overlays appear so I'm not even sure if that's an EA specific issue or what, but thought I would toss this out there in case anyone had an answer or was also experiencing this. I just wanna play my Wyoming dynasty and I'm sick of having to replay entire games because my game froze. It's making me not want to play anymore and College Football is my favorite game of all time. Alright thanks fellas sorry for the long post and big thanks to anyone who reads it!
