Every time I try to advance to the playoffs in my offline dynasty, the Heisman trophy animation causes my Xbox to overheat and shutdown, preventing progress. i have already disabled screenshots and video capturing on my Xbox, cleared local save data, and took apart the console and cleaned every speck of dust possible. I even have a box fan now pointing directly at the console to help keep it cool, and it still has this issue. this game is the only one that has ever caused this issue. How do I fix it so I can play the game I spent over $150 dollars on?

I started played solo ultimate team with no issues- I probably played for around 1-1.5 hours to start. Then I moved to dynasty to check out the new recruiting. I was only testing out recruiting only while simming through the weeks.No issues with my console (Xbox Series X) running loud or anything.Then when I get to sim the week past the conference championship, which I think triggers the Heisman ceremony into the new week- it fully shuts off my Xbox. When I restart it (manually) I get an error about overheating.When this happened in my first dynasty last night, I ended up hopping on Rocket League after for around 2 hours with 0 issues. Opened the game this morning trying to sim through the weeks recruiting to then test out the transfer portal and it shut my console down at the exact same advance (after conference championship).I regularly clean my console and have had no issues with other games leading up to this and even currently I can still hop on other games for extended periods of time with no issues.Not sure if others were experiencing similar issues or what the issues is exactly. I have an Xbox series x and I have been enjoying the game so far but there’s one major issue that is making it unplayable. In rtg or dynasty whenever the heisman trophy animation plays my Xbox fully shuts off. I don’t know how something like this makes it into the game but as of right now I am soft locked out of my dynasty and rtg. Please fix this asap

I have had, and witnessed, multiple crashes when advancing weeks and loading into the Heisman Ceremony. It completely crashes the console and shuts it off. When turning it back on it gives a warning about ventilation and keeping the console from overheating. The console is not hot and has good ventilation. No other heating issues ever or during any other games. Currently unable to advance in my dynasty as it crashes every time.

Same thing, get to the end of my dynasty right before the playoffs, and I think because Arch is in the Heisman running it bricks my game and it says it overheats my Xbox. (It’s it’s trying to run that video) Please fix this because this has happened to two separate dynasty’s and I’m soft locked out of both of them because once it loads it kills my Xbox everytime

Is anyone else’s game crashing going from conference championship week to the Heisman Trophy presentation? I play on Xbox for now and this is **bleep**. Then you don’t even have all the freshman in the game……

I was experiencing this issue on Xbox Series X. I possibly have found a work around the Heisman ceremony crashing issue. As soon as the cutscene fades into the black screen go to your Xbox Home Screen and let the game run in the background for a couple seconds. Once you load back in you should be able to skip the ceremony and continue!

I have the exact same problem. It happened to me the the beta then I had early access I put in a ticket with ea on the first day of pre release I guess they just don’t care enough about people’s feedback. I haven’t touched dynasty until today to see if it would work again and the same issue just happened. The fact I bought the mvp+ membership for this to still not be fixed means I’m canceling my subscription today and will never fall for this again 👎
