Phenom breakout token not working

When trying to spend the 50 SP given from a phenom token to upgrade the player, it just refunds the points and won't allow the card to upgrade to the 86

This issue is more than just an inconvenience. I spent time grinding tournaments specifically to earn enough points to complete the pass and receive this extra Phenom token so I could upgrade my team. Now the token is unusable because the upgrade refunds the SP every time instead of applying it I’d appreciate this being acknowledged and resolved as soon as possible. Players shouldn’t lose the value of rewards they legitimately earned due to a bug. Please either fix the upgrade so the token works or provide an equivalent replacement. I don’t want the time and effort I put into earning this reward to be wasted.

completed the event and got two breakout tokens when i apply them they keep getting refunded back to me so my 80 doesn’t go to an 86 just sits the 50 skills points on the card for both tokens what’s going on ? 

What's going on is that EA is inept and will not fix anything that doesn't make them money.

Same for me on xbox. Trying to upgrade the DT and it keeps refunding

After your get the breakout token then exchange at the players menu it doesn’t work when you try to upgrade attributes .  Needs to be fixed or start hooking us up with free top tier cards .  

I attempted to use a Phenom Upgrade Token that provides 50 SP to upgrade two of my 80 overall  players from the Phenom promo to an 86 overall rating. However, the upgrade will not proces.

Each time I apply the 50 SP, I receive a message stating that the upgrade could not be completed. The points are then refunded, and the player card remains unchanged, now with the wasted breakout tokens locked up in these two players.

Because the Phenom Upgrade Token is not functioning as intended, I would like the item used to obtain the 50 SP—my token- restored to my account. Please review the failed upgrade attempts and return the item so that I do not lose it due to this error.

Update: I was able to upgrade 1 of the players (my DT.) However, I had to spend about 20 minutes repeatedly exiting and reentering the upgrade, trying each time to upgrade until finally it worked. 

Grinded for the breakout token, used it and got the 50 SP. Went to upgrade the player and got this error message and the token is gone, 50 SP just sitting on this player. 

The Breakout Token attributes points are not working properly. Says that it is refunding my SP to me. Can I get my token back please? 

50 skill point voucher onto 80 overall phenom Josh Petty every time you upgrade him with the 50 points that you received from putting the voucher on him you get upgrade refunded “this upgrade was not able to occur. Your skill points were returned”. A glitch like this is unacceptable when people spend money to receive the second upgrade token. This needs to be fixed immediately while 86 overalls are even still relevant. In in all honesty, any account that has had this issue should receive an additional voucher. Especially if this is not resolved in a promptly matter.
