Are you able to change Version of an origin game?

Question

Hello! My name is Andreas and i'm having some issues regarding the game "Command &amp; Conquer: Generals Zero Hour". Basically what I want to do is download a mod for the game however the mod does not appear to work because I have the wrong version of the game. Now is there a way to change the version of the game like you can using steam?

I'm afraid not. The older games, including Generals, simply don't support this kind of thing. And I've noticed that the newer games (C&amp;C3 and beyond), which&nbsp;do normally preserve all older game versions when updating, and contain a system to switch to older versions, only came with the very latest version in The Ultimate Collection.

So what do I do? Download a cracked version?
