I assume you are talking about the first Command & Conquer game?

Make sure you install Nyerguds patch from here: http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cnc95upd/cc95p106/

If you still have problems afterwards then check out ddraw.ini in the game folder, you can switch the renderer between GDI and OpenGL in there

If this is indeed about Red Alert 2, the graphics system patch DDWrapper is known to solve the "black screen" issue for many people.

Download the zip file and extract "ddraw.dll" and "aqrit.cfg" into your game folder. Then, open the configuration file "aqrit.cfg" in Notepad, change the "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" option to 1, save the file, and the game should work.

And next time you post something, please specify exactly which game you have problems with.
