I have recently purchesed the c&c ultimate coll. after downloading the contents every time i open one of the games i get an error message telling me that i need dirctx 9 or higher i have 11 installed on my windows 8 laptop would like to be able to play the games ive paid for can someone help please
Community AdminHi, it sounds like you still have direct x issues.
Can you try restarting your machine with a Clean Boot and try running each game's dxsetup?
You can find the dx setup in each game's Origin Games folder. For example, for C&C 4, look for the DXSETEP application at C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight\__Installer\directx\redist
It might also help to run Windows update, and to especially check that your .NET is up to date.
