C&C Generals - Data2.cab corrupt

Good Day.

I have had this game for a while now (and Zero Hour).  Played it plenty.  Although I have a new lapTop now and when installing the game (to play Zero Hour - as Generals is a pre-requist), I cannot due to the error of data2.cab being corrupt during the installation (disc 2).

Please advise.

    Hi dunvansd,

    Did you ever register the game through Origin? If so could you try and install it from Origin rather than the disk to see if gives you the same error?
