CNC Rivals Balance Patch; Final Appeal '26
CNC Rivals is a great game that has a stagnant meta. For 3 years the competitive meta has solidified around 4 core units [shockwave trooper/rhino, predator tank, slingshot] with little room for experimentation. The game desperately needs a balance patch to bring intrigue back.
I have done a great deal of math and interaction analysis to come up with a set of changes. The following is the code changes required, ready for implementation. The entire process pipeline would take less than a day most-likely.

Bottom line, many people have stopped playing because the game is stale. This is an easy way to bring some interest back. I cannot see myself playing again without some form of change. These changes are not likely to be perfect, but almost anything would be an improvement at this point simply for the sake of novelty.
