CNC Rivals Balance Patch; Final Appeal '26
CNC Rivals is a great game that has a stagnant meta. For 3 years the competitive meta has solidified around 4 core units [shockwave trooper/rhino, predator tank, slingshot] with little room for experimentation. The game desperately needs a balance patch to bring intrigue back. I have done a great deal of math and interaction analysis to come up with a set of changes. This is an easy way to bring some interest back. I cannot see myself playing again without some form of change. These changes are not likely to be perfect, but almost anything would be an improvement at this point simply for the sake of novelty. EA_Groguet You responded to my last appeal a year ago. I Can't install and play the original "C&C The First Decade" disk on iMac 2013
Has anyone had the same issues while installing the game? When I installed the original C&C The First Decade CD ROM, but when I tried to get the game started, my iMac doesn't seem to support it. The CD ROM box says Windows OS...no Mac so I'm assuming I would need something to make it work. I then went to the EA website and I was able to download and install the EA App and I found the game under "All EA games under one roof" catalog, strategy genre. However, when I select the any of the C&C options, I get the following error when trying to upload the page: "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred while loading http://www.ea.com (see browser console for more information)." Can anyone help?
Support refused for legacy C&C Generals with proof (Case #242030733)
Hi everyone, I am a long-time fan and legal owner of the physical Command & Conquer Generals Deluxe Edition and Zero Hour. Since my current PC does not have a disk drive, I wanted to have these legacy games entitled to my EA account. I have contacted live support twice today (Case #242030733). I provided high-resolution photos of my original discs, the box, and the serial keys. I even included a personalized note with my name, date, and email in the photo to prove I physically own the items right now. Shockingly, both advisors (Niranjan and Parpaj) insisted that I must contact the "retailer" for a receipt. This game was purchased nearly 23 years ago (around 2003)! It is physically impossible for any retailer (like D&R in Turkiye) to provide a receipt after two decades. I find this request very unreasonable for a legacy product. I am attaching my proof of ownership here. Can a Community Manager please look into this case and help me add these classics to my library? I just want to play the games I legally own. Unable to Play Zero Hour
I am unable to load my Challenge progress in Zero Hour - whenever I try to the loading screen comes up for the General vs General but then it immediately says "Defeated". I'm playing the game through the EA App and it's the full licensed version of the game (no cracks, illegal copies etc). I've never had an issue until went to play it today (save file is from 4 month ago), when the game closes I get a prompt that some files are corrupted and the app offers a repair. 5 times I've repaired so far and still it's a problem. I've already attempted the license key "fix" of adding the dashes into the default key under HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\ergc but that hasn't fixed it. I've also tried modifying my options.ini file as I've seen in places online but still no joy :-( EA doesn't seem to offer support for this title according to the list of games to raise issues with via their site so I'm hoping that someone can advise what is going on and how I can fix this...Game Browser - Mods
I've been trying to get mods to work with Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath. I was able to use the EA Game Browser to do so years ago. I'd prefer to launch either game this way so I can choose a mod, and not have to modify files to play the various versions of the game. I've followed all of the instructions on the EA site to install the mods. But, any time I try launch either game with a mod, regardless of whether the target has been modified for the shortcut, the EA app displays a slashscreen where you can choose one of the original versions of either game. As a result, it only allows me to play the originals. For example, the target is: "D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer 3 TW and KW\Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -modconfig "C:\Users\jimbob\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\The Forgotten\config.txt" Is there a work around?
Red Alert 1 original game is stuck on the menu screen. No selection's
Hello, Red Alert 1 the original game is not able tos tart on windows 11. I own both games on EA App, Origin, and Steam. But for now, the version from EA app stops at the red alert screen. No intro, no cutscenes. Just right into the red alert menu where you are suppose to select, new mission, counterstrike and aftermath, are no where to see. It's almost like the background is only a picture. I will attach a picture. Is there any solution for this. I am running on windows 11 at the moment.
