Unable to Play Zero Hour
I am unable to load my Challenge progress in Zero Hour - whenever I try to the loading screen comes up for the General vs General but then it immediately says "Defeated". I'm playing the game through the EA App and it's the full licensed version of the game (no cracks, illegal copies etc). I've never had an issue until went to play it today (save file is from 4 month ago), when the game closes I get a prompt that some files are corrupted and the app offers a repair. 5 times I've repaired so far and still it's a problem. I've already attempted the license key "fix" of adding the dashes into the default key under HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\ergc but that hasn't fixed it. I've also tried modifying my options.ini file as I've seen in places online but still no joy :-( EA doesn't seem to offer support for this title according to the list of games to raise issues with via their site so I'm hoping that someone can advise what is going on and how I can fix this...
Game Browser - Mods
I've been trying to get mods to work with Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath. I was able to use the EA Game Browser to do so years ago. I'd prefer to launch either game this way so I can choose a mod, and not have to modify files to play the various versions of the game. I've followed all of the instructions on the EA site to install the mods. But, any time I try launch either game with a mod, regardless of whether the target has been modified for the shortcut, the EA app displays a slashscreen where you can choose one of the original versions of either game. As a result, it only allows me to play the originals. For example, the target is: "D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer 3 TW and KW\Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -modconfig "C:\Users\jimbob\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\The Forgotten\config.txt" Is there a work around?
Red Alert 1 original game is stuck on the menu screen. No selection's
Hello, Red Alert 1 the original game is not able tos tart on windows 11. I own both games on EA App, Origin, and Steam. But for now, the version from EA app stops at the red alert screen. No intro, no cutscenes. Just right into the red alert menu where you are suppose to select, new mission, counterstrike and aftermath, are no where to see. It's almost like the background is only a picture. I will attach a picture. Is there any solution for this. I am running on windows 11 at the moment.
Kane’s Wrath missing from my EA App library (C&C Collection)
Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone here can help or maybe an EA community manager can take a look at this. A couple of weeks ago, I wanted to reinstall some of my favorite old games. I own the Command & Conquer bundle on EA App (the one that includes all the titles and expansions), and I’ve always been able to play them all — especially Kane’s Wrath, which is my favorite. But recently, I noticed that Kane’s Wrath has completely disappeared from my library. All the other C&C titles are still there and install just fine, but this one is just gone. I’ve already tried everything I could think of — clearing cache, reinstalling EA App, checking for account mix-ups, etc. I even submitted a support ticket about two weeks ago, but I haven’t received any reply yet. Has anyone else run into this problem? Or maybe EA is aware of it?Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. I just really want to play it again. Alex

Hello everyone, I created this article to ask the question, will there be a reissue? I know I shouldn't write anything because it doesn't concern me, but it's still relevant. Today's gaming companies It doesn't matter what franchise rights they keep for themselves, but why not take advantage of the opportunity? It's just there to be included in the story. Thank you for reading, I'm not getting into anyone's argument, I just asked a question like everyone else!
Why does the app force me to pay to play games I have paid for?
I hate EA. They killed off the second hand game market, got kids hooked into gambling, and now want me to pay for a subscription to acces the games I already bought? Are they legit or are they some sort of organised crime syndicate? I really hate EA, I only play games I bought way back from them. I will never again buy anything from EA! I also other game front ends, and they always give me access, to my games, that I paid for. So it appears either a scam, or misleading sales tactics. Either is "bad". Choose any other word to replace bad that will emphasis that it is really bad.
Offline play.
When I purchased the cnc games I was Not informed internet access was mandatory to play any of these games campaigns, skirmish requires no internet online or other features that don’t require online access. This is EA security measures stopping these old games working correctly but they can just blame uses pc and keep the money well those with no connection to internet no longer have access to games they paid for. Most of these cnc games do not require internet connection. Iv followed ever path to try get original cnc working with zero success. Tiberian war/firestorm doesn’t work. Ut add a patch and it does st& , generals/zero hour require online access to start. Should have kept all my cd versions at least then I could call them my games All these downloads are not uses games even if you paid full price EA APP own them and we pay for that.!!!
