Command and conquer generals - zero hour "repairs needed"

Hello!

I was forced to update from origin to EAs launcher, but now the game refuses to launch. When try to launch the game, it just prompts me with "repairs needed"

after clicking "repair", it does whatever it does, but doesnt really fix anything. When trying to launch again after repairing the game, the same prompt comes up again.

I have tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling to a different location, but I have run out of ideas...
