Command and Conquer Generals...can you play others online?

Hi guys,

New to Origin and just found it in my search to play an old favorite, Command and Conquer Generals. Curious to know if there is a way to play online against other players the way

we did back in 03 when this came out? When I try to go online it says unable to connect, not sure if it is a problem at my end or just no longer supported?
