Command and Conquer Generals on Origin

So, I recently noticed that the Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection has Command and Conquer Generals in the package. I'm not going to buy this as I already purchased CnC Generals + Zero Hour some years ago. I tried to input the serial number on origin, but no luck (maybe it's just too old?). I tried just installing the game, but I guess it's to old to work on Windows 8.1. Is there anyway I can just give the right tech support person my serial number and they can just put the game on my Origin account? I'm assuming that might alleviate my problems. At this point I'm sick of trying different things and I just want to play my game. Thank you

    Unfortunately, Generals and Zero Hour do not exist as product on Origin. The Gen+ZH pack exists as part of the Origin Humble Bundle given out a couple of years ago, and as part of the Ultimate Collection, but not as separate product. Hence, you can't redeem codes for it on Origin.

    So what should my course of action be here? I'd really like to play generals but nothing I try works. Options.ini does nothing, compatibility mode does nothing, has anyone played a game of Generals on 8.1?

    Hi there. Hopefully I am posting this in the correct place. I am trying to play genorals zero hour on my windows 10 tablet/laptop but it loads the game up 90 degrees out and doesn't fill the screen. I have tried window compatibility but I think it's not working because the game first loads the option of genorals or zero hour and applying the settings to that and not the games. I tried installing an update to the games but says old file doesn't exist. Hope you can advise please and thanks for reading .
