command and conquer generals zero hour (Command and Conquer, Deluxe edition)

During a recent tidying up around the place, I stumbled across my rather ancient compilation of generals and zero hour.

Decided to do some nostalgia as its a classic, so I popped in disk 1 and clicked install. - Unfortunately it then asks for a code written on the back of the manual. This is of course understandable, but unfortunately the manual wasnt to be found in the compilation. Its possible that it is indeed somewhere in my apartment, but said apartment is currently acting as a black hole to a lot of stuff including this manual.

I realize that this is my fault and problem, but Im wondering if there is some way of verifying the authenticity of the disks and get a new manual or failing that simply the/a code to enter (I assume one for zero hour as well).

Anything I can do other than spending a month searching through every nook and cranny of the above mentioned black hole?
