Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour

I have been playing Zero hour for about 5 years on my windows 7 64 bit  Computer , I had trouble 4 weeks ago & could not get game to run due to error  messages , I found on the net a fix  but now since I installed the fix , I still can't get the game to run because even with the correct disc in the dvd drive , an error message says '' please put the correct  disc in dvd drive''.  If  anyone has any ideas I'm  all  ears  because I'm  all  out  of  ideas.  Thank You.  Vic

    Um. Is this an original CD install of the game, or The First Decade, or the Origin release?

    Hi Nyerguds,

    Yes this is  Command & Conquer  The First Decade dvd  which is the ultimate collection with 12 Games on a single disc.

    Try both reinstalling and and running the game in Administrator mode. 

    As shown here, also try setting the game executable to compatibility mode for WinXP Service Pack 3.
