Hi, i downloaded the C&C collection, but when i try to launch the game it runs for a few seconds and then shuts down and takes me back to my windows desk top. There are no error messages. i have tried to launch it using different compatibility modes but it still won't work. Does anyone know how i can fix this? i am currently running windows 8- Thanks
The Ultimate Collection contains games developed over a span of fifteen years, on a large number of different game engines, for a large number of different systems, spanning from 9 to 24 years old. They can have a very wide variety of very different problems on modern OSes.
So please specify exactly which games you tried and have problems with.
I strongly suspect that you try to run the Command and Conquer the Ultimate Collection Additional Content launcher from within Origin? This launcher was indeed very strange. Run the games directly from within Origin. Thus open Generals for example directly in the Origin-interface. Do you have any modifications or mods installed? And indeed, do none of the games work?
