Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 - Blank Screen

--This is for Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 Standalone digital download (as it came through "On the House"), not as part of the C&C Collection --

I downloaded the game from Origin yesterday, and on running it sets the monitor to black, two shades of black in fact, and nothing shows up. I can hear the music in the background of the old Westwood logo and of the title screen, but nothing renders.

I've tried every trick I could find online, short of downloading anything. I've set every dang EXE to "Run as Administrator",  put it in "Reduced Color Mode 16-bit", and put it in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3. I've also changed RA2.ini to have the extra bit of text at the end. Nothing has worked.

I am running Windows 10, NVidia GTX 860M graphics card, Duel Monitor.

Is there something I have yet to try? And If there is something that needs to be downloaded, can it be from a website that doesn't make my McAfee freak out?

    The graphics system patch DDWrapper is known to solve the "black screen" issue for many people.

    Download the zip file and extract "ddraw.dll" and "aqrit.cfg" into your game folder. Then, open the configuration file "aqrit.cfg" in Notepad, change the "ForceDirectDrawEmulation" option to 1, save the file, and the game should work.

    My only problem with this solution is the website. McAfee doesn't like "bitpatch" for some reason, and I don't want to risk my computers security by trying to get Command and Conquer to work. Is there somewhere else, somewhere more reputable, that I could get the files from?
