Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 Malware detected during download

Trying to install C&C RA2 but my virus scanner detected over 100 attempts to install malware on my pc. Blocking them all resulted in a failed download. Really hesitant to disable my scanner during a download regardless of the source. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is just a false positive detection, don't worry.
I have the game installed too and there were no false detections for me, try to allow Origin/The game in your anti-virus to prevent such errors or use a different anti virus.
You can also report the false detections to your anti virus provider and they will take care of it
