Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 wont launch

I downloaded Red Alert 2 from the the C&C ultimate edition but when the launcher pops up with Red Alert 2 and Yuris Revenge I cannot launch either progam. Nothing is happening after I click or double click on the icons. The link for the C&C credits works though. I have read a couple posts saying to change the compatibility modes to Windows XP service pack 3 which I have done but still nothing....Please help.
