Command and Conquer Red Alert 2

Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 gets a black screen every time it gets minimized. Windows 10 64-bit. Help me make it not do that. Windows keeps giving me various popups that will minimize the screen,...

The easiest way around that is probably to run the game in windowed mode.
