Command and Conquer Red Alert 2

Hey Interwebz Friends,

I purchased the command and conquer package (17 games) and am having issues launch my Red Alert 2.

What happens is I click 'play' for Red Alert 2, in 'my games' in the origin app. Then, a pop up comes up for me to click on whether I want to play RE2 or RE2:Yuri's Revenge (the expansion). It doesn't matter which one I click, but once I do, nothing happens. The pop up window stays open and doesn't react. I then close it, try to reopen the game via origin app, but I can't even select play anymore (the option becomes unhighlighted).

Thoughts or suggestions?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail.

This problem is more recent as I used to be able to play it fine. I'm running Windows 8.

Could you please try disabling Origin In Game to see if the issue still occurs after this? You can disable Origin In Game if you go to the Origin menu in the top left corner of the client, then Application Settings and Origin In game.

I have attempted to disable the "ENABLE ORIGIN IN GAME" but am unable to uncheck the box.

If the box is greyed out to check/uncheck the Origins In Game, close out Origins, and log back in, then try it.

i am having same issue except thie disable orgin ingame does not fix my issue. any help please?

What happens when you right click the game tile under "My Games" and choose "Repair Game"?

Are you able to proceed then?

I have tried both solutions mentioned in the replies found here, however, neither solution worked for me. The game loads, but when the main menu comes up, none of the menu labels are visible, I can still click on the menu locations, and it sounds like the menu works, but still unable to view any of the menu labels.
Any help would be most appreciated.
