that's what appears when I try to download Zero hour from EA Dekstop, I really don't know what to do, can anyone help me? I was able to download and play C&C 3 without any problem but no generals/zero hour
addendum: I already cleared the app cache and tried other things
Exactly the same issue on my PC with the EA desktop app version. I begrudgingly installed the Origin (x86!!) app and the Generals/Zero Hour download & install worked fine with that.
Like the original poster said, other C&C titles are working OK with the EA app, just this one seems a bad port from the Origin collection. I hope they test and fix...

This problem is fixed by GenPatcher.
Yes it looks like StarJekker has isolated the issue and created a good workaround. I haven't tried to replicate the fault and use that method because my installation via the Origin client is working and recognized by the EA client now. I would if there was any debate about whether the fix works or not but I'm sure it does!
