Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars: Install fails with origin

When I attempt to install the game I get a 1624 error code.

 I can still run the game from CNC3.exe located in 

C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\ 

but the game itself does not show as being installed in the Origin client
