debugger running in background?

When I launch the game I get a notification that a debugger is running in the background. What does the game mean by this? Is this a known issue?

    Problem is solved - I did a clean re-install of Windows 10 2004 and the game worked instantly. Probably something wasn't going right updating from 1909 to 2004. I also experienced BSODs after updating to 2004.

    I recommend everyone updating to the latest Windows to clean install 2004, because it is a bugfest if you don't.

    I don't have AVG, just Windows Defender. I'm running Windows 10 with the latest May update. In the background these processes are running: RGB Fusion 2.0 for my motherboard, Discord, Logitech Gaming Software for my keyboard, Gigabyte APP Center for my motherboard, Samsung Magician for my SSD and Windows Defender. I have tried disabling all of them, but that doesn't help, the error message still appears.

    Tried disabling all services and all startup items, still the same error message. To me this seems like a problem EA is yet to fix. I'm not happy with this, for 20 euro's I at least expect a working game.
