If a unit group of scarabs takes out 2 riflemen/militant unit groups, the player who lost the 2 groups of riflemen/militants is net positive on the tiberium exchange there. Not saying this means they aren't op at low level just something to consider

8 years agoDespite the tiberium lead, I would rather be the player with the additional unit on the field.
Scarab users tend to be a bit greedy and double up on harvesters so the minor tiberium lead you seize is very short lived.
Also just a heads up everyone, please take what I say with a grain of salt. I am still learning this game.
- 8 years agoI tend to agree with you, the tempo lead on scarabs is a bit much, also yeah you might be learning this game but its people in your sort of range that need to be talking about this, I can speak from having experienced and used them early on, but its been awhile since I regularly saw scarabs in the meta, and there's been two (soon to be three) patches since then, so aside from watching alliance games and my rare experience seeing them these days I can't speak a ton to how various rebalances are affecting this issue or what new combination of stuff people might find to use them with.
