Game Version Compatibility Issues - Red Alert 3

Is it possible to disable games in my Origin collection? Or maybe something else can help me. Here's the context:

Long ago, before EA Download Manager changed its name to Origin, I purchased Red Alert 3 Uprising. Much later, I bought the Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection, which includes one application with both Red Alert 3 and the Uprising expansion. I played the new combined version for many years without any problems.

Now, when I redownload the combined app it, it works just fine. However, whenever I relaunch, Origin detects that Red Alert 3 Uprising is installed and "grays out" the Play button for the combined UC app. I would prefer to play the Ultimate Collection app because I can play both the original game and the expansion, and because it has my most recent saves for both. The only way to do so, however, is to uninstall Uprising (which uninstalls the Ultimate Collection app as well) and then reinstalling the UC app.

How do I keep Origin from thinking that I have the wrong app installed?
