Generals: Zero Hour - Online gaming works but cannot get custom maps to work in Windows 8

Hi There

I recently bought the Ultimate Collection of Command and Conquer.  I am a huge fan of CNC Generals and Zero hour.  I have tried and

read up on the net but i cannot to my life get unofficial player made maps to work with Generals In Windows 8.

Any ideas?  I am running Windows 8 64 Bit.

I have tried the install directory .. My Documents/Zero Hour/Maps folder .. and a bunch of other ways but nothing.
