There are soooo many ways to counter them, I don‘t understand how people struggle against those...
Simply sending militants/rifleman/wardogs/wheels at them is already enough for example. This is just one option, there are many many more...
There are many other units which you should be afraid of, but scarabs are definitely not one of them. If you want to know methods on how to counter them with ease let me know. I‘ve fought enough of them to know how to deal with them.
lol i love killing them with harpies/venoms whatever theyre called. jeeps also kill them fast. so do basic infantry. if you early build a jeep or venom and block the scarabs from getting to the pads they usually lose. if you have cheap units you can usually tag team them and only lose one cheap unit. like send two venoms at once to a scarab and itll only get a chance to kill one venom before the other scarab dies. they will always lose the missile if they spam scarabs and you spam a jeep or venom
Sometimes a well timed air unit can force a scarab to attack its allies. I do that to have the scarab back fire on his own economy. 2 venoms, and his harvester is dead. I don't know how one used an air unit to have the scarab kill itself, cant seem to do it.

Probably because the game does not teach you how to, and people are too lazy to look for resources outside of the game?

I started over. I’m in platinum league now. Nothing but scarab and double harvester players. Will hit masters in a few days and get smashed going up against level 11 units with my level 7 and 8 units.

I didn‘t even search for scarab counters on Youtube, I figured it out by myself through common sense. Like, I will not send 2 shockwaves at them just to be killed, for example. Send the cheapest unit you have. If it is 10 tib you send 2 and you are already 10 tib ahead. Only brought missile squads? Also no problem, send 2 again. Both will die, but you only lost 10 tib which is basically nothing. Is that really so hard? I don‘t understand people... use your brains, dammit.
