Monetary value of this game

I have heard from @governer7778 that the game's servers will be dismantled by February next year. He got this information through his brother that works for EA. This is definitely bad news for the community, especially those who play the game. There's still thousands of players active, even though they were a remnant of such vast numbers.

I just have one question, why wouldn't EA just sell the entire server to a different company? I'm sure there's a company out there that's willing to bring the game to its full potential by ensuring the game gets features that players want. It doesn't matter how long the downtime might be (a month or two at worst), so long as the community lives.

I've heard from a friend that EA screwed most of the recent C&C Titles, and he hopes that this one doesn't fail. I also wish for the game to last at least 5 years. It would be a shame to see this game die, especially since I made friends outside my country with the help of this very app. In my opinion, the game's more fit as a PC/console game.

My opinion. Things cost way too much. No way I’m going to spend hundreds or thousands like some do on rivals. It’s a mobile game for Pete’s sake. So they get nothing from me due to their greed. I’m a free player because of it . If things were cheaper, they’d get a few bucks from me and probably from thousands of other players.

My wife plays those jelly games. When she gets stuck on a level, she pays a few bucks. 99 cents here. 2 dollars there. It’s not a lot so she spends when she needs it. At the end of the month, it may be about 10 dollars. That’s reasonable for a mobile game. Hundreds to upgrade is not.  Those games are successful because they have thousands of players like her spending a few dollars a month compared to just a few whale players on rivals here spending hundreds.

Make things cheaper. Have multiple skins availability for a dollar. Charge 2 bucks to fully upgrade one level 9 unit to 10 instead of an insane amount of money for crates that do not have the cards you need. Charge a dollar to unlock a unit early. Revamp the whole thing. Dump those useless crates. Charge for specific upgrades instead. Just a few bucks. Nothing crazy.

@Marine_CorporaI It’s copy righted. Anyone can pull up the article in the news feed for EA using a brokerage app. I can see it in TD Ameritrade’s on the EA news feed for 7/30/2019.
  • Seems like a lot of excuses. A screenshot without the whole article in it isn’t a copyright violation. I’ve googled and googled and cannot find anything on the subject.

Maybe this will save the game's financial issues. I could say that I'd be willing to pay if they have like a frequent sale or the price drops by 50%. Also you shared a replay where you willingly lost after putting up a fight with your opponent. The 3rd missile lands on your enemy's base but they win. I did the same thing on a highly ranked opponent challenge battle. I'd share its replay.

  • The game clearly has a late stage high level player retention /keep playing incentive problem.

Because of me venturing in to the master league, now all my high level resource challenge events are loosing streaks, why? Cause I am up against players with max out level 10 units where I am barely max 9 starting 10, I was told it gets worst in master 2 level and so on with Whales left right centre. This wall of progressing clearly is pay to progress and subsequently pay to win. It will turn off many players, in my alliance alone, four players last til master and gave up soon after.

Change the games currency and economics is key to the survival of this game.

    The devs should:

Stop charging diamonds for repeating events, put up 1000 gold or something like that to repeat the event. Such as resource challenge, it is one of the disengagement for many players to continue playing. Hence limit engagement numbers at any given time, the more player the better for any MMO, simple as that.

Extend these events, by 2X length. Say resource challenges, don’t end at 10, end at 20 with more rewards that prompt more engagements.

Increase fuel storage limit to 20 or more, or even better, make that another currency which player can choose to use to replay events instead of paying gold.

introduce customisation of colour pattern skins for units that player can diy with Dimond, put declarations what not on units for more cosmetic variation content.

Introduce one off usage randomised ability cards that can be purchased via a form of loot boxes, this adds special abilities on a selected unit in a given game, ie: laser trooper is slower but gets 2X fire power cause 40, mammoth tank is twice the speed but half the health, etc, etc. this changes how given deck be played at higher level to spice up the fun factor.

Introduce personalised battles, a type of random map where player progresses for various rewards along the way by winning certain number of games, loosing the games would also push back player progress. These modes only available for master or higher level players. Level will be capped and each match would be in different game play modes include those in the events. This mode would keep player engaged and player can pay diamonds to progress in forms of pay to progress.

Bring the game to origin pc / Xbox one with full mouse control but shares progress with mobile, but pc / Xbox has their own player pool, pc only vs pc players.

  • You may not know this but once you get to around level 20 you will face players about level 50 a lot! You will or should I say can’t win against this level not worth it fyi
