And there is punishment, no fuel ☹️
So play to the end 🙂

DCing needs to be serious violation. If you DC then you should loose double medals. This would prevent people from doing so.Can you even bring one single reason why it should be as you say? In case you haven't paid attention: Disconnecting does not reward you in any way.
The only problem that exists here is that there is no proper built-in option to give up. THAT is what should be fixed.

I will clarify, if a player does this often then there needs to be a "slap on the wrist" instead of a "wag of the finger" so to speak. Which means there needs to be a higher loss of medals. Yes I also agree with you on a "give up" button needs to be placed in the game as well.- BattaIia7 years agoSeasoned Ace"Warning! lol really? Let's worry less about trying to run players out of the game and more on how to make it better please.

Disconnecting has one advantage a guarantees you will not fight the same person in the next match I can’t tell you how many times I have been completely destroyed to play the whole game out then to start a new game and play the exact same person not gonna be any fun I know they’re going to kick my * oh yes by the way did try different strategies after playing them still lose third time I think they let me win

You bring it to the point.
It is also a timesave when you realize you neither can outplay your opponent nor his deck. Or when you are being rushed very aggressively and are beaten for sure.
There are quite a few moments when such a give up button would come in handy. DC is not an elegant way of giving up. But it gets the job done and neither of the opponents get dis/advantages they should not get. And with that being said I absolutely cannot understand the problem somebody could have with people disconnecting. So if there is no point scorewise then I insinuate you want to keep your opponent in the game so they see you disassembling them.

You can't punish them with a double medal loss, cause sometimes the game shuts down, or you get a phone call

spme times the game is over and as long if there is no surrender button its just fair that u can dc. dont punish players for a bad programm. why is a dc not a auto win? why do u have to end the game with the opponent gone... because of lazy programming

@thealcaniis completely right. It’s not the players fault. I disconnect sometimes when i try out new armies (we really need a test range!) or face high level opponents. I would rather play the next game instead of watching the opponent slowly destroying my base with his units.
Also when the announcer tells you your base has been destroyed, something i just witnessed happening 5 seconds ago i’m like «yeah no sh**»
(Imagine Ethan Hunt hanging at the Burj Khalifa lol)

That's the game. If your unit roster is bad, you lose and learn from it. You don't cowardly disconnect. You fight till the end. Many of times I've had my butt handed to me and come back from it.

I disagree, the right approach is to allow forfeit / surrender.
Actually, I'm frustrated when i've slightly poor signal it doesn't allow me to reconnect to a game.
