Origin login at startup of Kane's Wrath + RA3 (Ultimate Collection) [April 2024]

Hi everyone,

I own the Ultimate Collection. At the beginning of this year I installed and played Kane's Wrath via EA App on my Win 11 PC without any problem. A few weeks ago I wanted to play another match. To my surprise the EA App installed some update for this game (what for after so many years?!). After this Update I wasn't able to play Kane's Wrath anymore. Everytime I try to start the game a new window pops up aksing for my Origin login credentials (see attachment). It doesn't matter if I insert my credentials or just close the window, I just get thrown back to the EA App and nothing more happens. The same thing also happens when I try to start RA3.

I already tried to repair & reinstall the game, clear the EA App Cache, close background applications, boot my pc in secure/clean mode and also tried the play the game on a friend's PC. Everytime I end up with the same result, at this damn login window.

I also contacted EA via support chat twice, but they also just checked with me the above points and never respond to the login window. I was left the notice, that this issue would be given to the technical staff, who would reach out to me. No one ever reached out to me, but my supoort case was labeled as "State: Can't be solved". I'm really disappointed, even more as I could play this game two months ago without issue.

I'm definitly not the only having this issue. Has anyone found a solution for this problem?
