Points
Does anyone know how the points system works? How is it that if you win a battle you'll get 17 points, sometimes less, but if you lose a battle you lose 20 points? It just seems random how the points are awarded.

The criterion here is the difference in medals.
If you have the same or almost the same amount of medals as your opponent, you gain +20 on a win and -20 on a loss.
If your opponnet is ranked higher in medals than you are, you gain more on a win and lose less on a loss.
If your opponnet is ranked lower in medals than you are, you gain less on a win and lose more on a loss.
