RA 2 Runs But Menu Screen Buttons ARE NOT Visible

Question

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.I cannot play since the buttons are not visible but there is sound, music etc. The buttons are missing - I just see the game screen frame and my mouse cursor...I just purchased tghe game today.HELP!

A lot of people have this problem. I have yet to find a workable solution but I'd try reinstalling.
