Isn't working how, exactly? Does it not start at all? Does it crash on startup? Does it crash in-game? What error message do you get?

it says i need to have directx 8.1 or higher installed and verify that my video card meets minimum requirements
it wont start the game
If you have issues with DirectX errors popping up, find and delete the file "dbghelp.dll" in the game's install folder. It's some testing dll the developers forgot to remove and it causes issues on modern DirectX versions.
i dont seem to have that command or i cant find it
