Re: New Unit Showcase: Scavenger

@Marine_CorporaI I’ve always thought it was a little weird that GDI has two ranged infantry units while NOD has none. Wonder if Scavengers and Fanatics are one sided because of that?

NOD doesn’t need ranged infantry. If they want to nullify a whole infantry deck, all they need is a chem buggy.

Maybe the scavenger could use a buff, when its abilities are affected. Instead of a 1 tile range, its a 2 tile range. If its standing next to a giga cannon and the giga cannon kills something that's within the scavenger's 2 tile range, you will get the extra resource.

I think that they are little *, who like to hang back.

It should be good to have unit that are spammable, flying or have raider, while you rely on them.

Later on, they are not a must have unit, so you can just abandon or throw them away.

They make your deck weaker agains aircrafts and anti-infantry, but you should be ok, if you can solve your problems with money.

Are scavengers supposed to take tiberium damage whilst standing on tiberium fields? I saw a replay once on where the scavenger was harvester hunting whilst it was standing on tiberium. It was slowly taking damage then moments later, a chem buggy came and eliminated the scavenger. I thought scavengers are mutants.
