Re: Registering the Ultimate Collection
Hey there @346253742447
I'm pretty sure that majority of the registering servers shouldn't work at all anymore if you try to launch the original Register.exe files from the game folders as they're trying to register with Westwood which has been long defunct. What specific game are you trying to register ? I could install it myself then and check out what's up.
Trying this out myself with what I do got installed, if you launch Register.exe from Red Alert 2's folder for example, it redirects you to this site which seems to be the way the older games function online nowadays: http://xwis.net/
Or are you trying to Redeem a Product Code and it isn't working ? Are you trying to redeem it from the website or Origin ? I'd suggest logging in to Origin and redeeming the product from there to ensure something isn't blocking the connection on your browser. You can find the steps for the redeeming here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/redeem-your-serial-code-in-origin/
If you cannot redeem a code and it keeps telling you that it can't make connection to the server, it's rather clear that there's something between your computer and EA's server blocking the connectivity. I'd go through the Origin Connection Issues thread in that case to ensure nothing locally is blocking you: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Complete-Support-Origin-Connection-Issues/td-p/5019298
Make sure to at least check out your firewall, always run Origin as an administrator, and check for any background programs which could conflict with Origin's functionality.
