Re: Replays not working

The game cheats for replays. It doesn't record FOOTAGE, it records MOVES. So when you watch a replay, it plays a real game with timestamped moves. This is great because the server only has to store a little info to record games for you. The BAD news means that when there is a balance patch units will act differently than before. So this invalidates replays because units that won suddenly lost, they are slower so they didn't get to that pad as quick to fight, etc etc. So this is why replays don't work after a patch.

TL;DR

Patches break replays. If you wanna keep em, you have to use a recording app and record them.
