Because they don't want you to progress too fast as all loot crates are epic.

- The official response is you have to earn your place in tib league, you can't just luck out with challenge matches and win streaks. Tiberium league is for the best of the best, if you can't get there without aid, you don't belong there quite yet.
But you are setting up false sense of skill in masters then by having win streaks on lower levels....after all lucking out doesn’t take much skill...so lucking out up to masters three why would several wins in a row not be worthy of some reward as the the medals could be as low as10 for a win now that you can face opponents in masters from plat 1
Kid gloves have to come off at some point. But you may be right - maybe Diamond needs to reduce streak-win amount, it's too easy to rank up to Masters - seeing people with level 8 units and questionable skill all the time! (That may describe me somewhat too - LOL)
Wouldn't mind getting experience from streaks though - get that next level 60 reward just a little bit faster
- personally I hate streaks period. The only thing they serve is to inflate your medal count so you hit higher level players quicker, and it's almost every other day there is a thread on here where someone wedged their account into a spot where all they get is challenge battles.
the real reason for streaks was to get whales as high up as possible so they stomp the fewest free to play players on the way, but I doubt it has ever worked that way often enough to justify it.
But us little lemmings hate losing medals, so we crave win streaks and challenge battles until that is all we get, then we wonder where it all went wrong.
