Hi I read what you had write but I didn't find these error: I'm playing and if I do alt-tab, to minimize the game, when I do alt+tab again to came back to the game I have a black screen, I still I have sound, it happens on RA2 and RA2 Yuri's Revenge, all the game goes well no other problem
I have a laptop that came with windows 8.1, i7, GT 640, 8Gb RAM
