never mind I found the solution, turned out I had to simply disable in game stuff client side, sorry for my Angry comment at the top of this page, had a looooooong day...now to get my $20 worth for RA2
hopefully, got the game to load...lets see how far it goes, won't reload if I have to minimize the game for some reason, that gets annoyin...
Yeah, this thread should really get an update. These solutions were mostly researched in the days of the "First Decade" pack, on winXP and WinVista. Now we're dealing with the mess that is Origin, on Win7 and Win8, so that has obviously added a whole extra bunch of specific issues :-\
