    I had the same problem but somehow it works now. Go in your origin library and press right mouse button -> repair game. If this does not work try reinstalling game. There is a problem with resolution though. You have to play this game on lowest because if you try to change it the game either crashes or graphics are all messed up.

    Hi

    I had exactly same problem - I spent hours on google and found a solution which works for me:

    - download ddraw.dll (http://bitpatch.com/ddwrapper.html), change aqrit.cfg file like this:

    RealDDrawPath = AUTO
    BltMirror = 1
    BltNoTearing = 1
    ColorFix = 1
    DisableHighDpiScaling = 1
    FakeVsync = 1
    FakeVsyncInterval = 0
    ForceBltNoTearing = 1
    ForceDirectDrawEmulation = 1
    NoVideoMemory = 1
    SingleProcAffinity = 1
    ShowFPS = 1

    - change ra2.ini and ra2md.ini - video section like this:

    [Video]

    AllowHiResMode=yes
    AllowVRAMSidebar=yes
    StrechMovies=yes
    VideoBackBuffer=no
    ScreenWidth=1920
    ScreenHeight=1080
    StretchMovies=no

    - change power scheme of my graphic card (Intel HD 4600) to high performance

    - for all exe files in RA2 folder I changed compatibility to WinXP SP3, 16b color depth and run as administrator

    - also switch off UAC

    This video helps me so much:

    After this I'm able to play this game on Windows10 64b.

    Do you have a dual monitor setup? I use a Yamaha receiver as a phantom monitor for my sound and it doesn't work for me if I have that as my second monitor. If I turn it off it works.

    This problem was also persistent on my Win10 system, however could luckily be resolved with the steps mentioned by poster 'timecek007'.

    In my case I also needed to set the correct compatibility options - winxp sp3 / 16-bit colors / run as administrator - ON the 'Ra2.exe' / 'RA2MD.exe' / 'Yuri.exe' and 'game.exe' files.

    It worked best for me with the settings:   'ScreenWidth=1024' and 'ScreenHeight=768' (or 800 + 600) edited in the RA2.ini file and 'ShowFPS                  = 0' in aqrit.cfg files respectively.
