Red Alert 2 Issue

So I just reinstalled origin, and downloaded and installed red alert 2 after I purchased them from the Origin store.. As soon as 'battle control' is given to me, everything self distructs in Red ale...

@erosaf This is the result of Westwood's old anti-piracy system getting confused by the full hard disk install of Origin. It's usually fixed by doing a game reinstall.

    I have already reinstalled it once to try and get rid of this issue. Is there any other ideas on ways to solve it?

      @erosaf

      Fiddle around with the game's compatibility modes (I think WinXP SP3 generally works best), and make sure to run with administrator rights.
