For some reason it just runs fine now, I don't know what caused it to function properly.

I have already done that. This is what bothers me. When you have done the following:
- Reinstalled origin
- Reinstalled the game
- Run as admin
- Updated windows with servicepack 1
...And it still doesnt work. If at least I knew what the problem is, I could spend some time on the internet trying to find a soliution.
So my new question is. What is this problem related to ?
I got a copy of Red Alert 3 Uprising as well, and I cannot get it to work right either. I have the program set to run as administrator, but when I try to play the game, it either loads into a black screen and does nothing, or when it does load, I can't change the resolution and get it to stay at the size I want it to. When I try to confirm the resolution I want, the screen goes black until after the timer for saying yes or no to changes is done, the resets to the default. This is my second time installing it do to Origin's incompetent customer service.
I'm sorry, but there is no clear solution to this. It started working for some reason, but I do not know why. I tried and tried, nothing worked. Then after I left it for 5 days and thought "lets try it again" it worked magically. I do not know what I did right, it somehow started working. Perhaps do the same, maybe it's something about an activation delay, I don't know.
